BOYS BASKETBALL TOP 25
(Records through Monday, April 26)
1. MATER DEI 11-0
Monarchs, who have wins over Crean Lutheran and Pacifica Christian, have an average margin of victory of 29 points.
2. SANTA MARGARITA 5-0
The Eagles are off to a 2-0 start in Trinity League with wins over JSerra and St. John Bosco.
3. CAPISTRANO VALLEY 6-0
The Cougars have impressed enough that they are on CIF-SS Open Division “watch list.”
4. FAIRMONT PREP 3-3
Huskies have played a tough schedule that includes losses to Mater Dei, Centennial of Corona and Capistrano Valley.
5. ORANGE LUTHERAN 5-2
The Lancers lost to Mater Dei, beat Servite and Pacifica Christian.
6. LAGUNA BEACH 8-0
The Breakers stay undefeated with wins over Marina and Los Alamitos.
7. FOUNTAIN VALLEY 4-1
The Barons enter the top 10 after impressive win over Marina.
8. JSERRA 7-6
The Lions still have plenty of skill after departure of standout junior guard Alpha Chibambe.
9. MARINA 6-3
The Vikings went 0-2 last week, but the losses were to excellent teams – Laguna Beach and Fountain Valley.
10. SERVITE 12-4
The busy Friars lost to Orange Lutheran and, St. John Bosco in Trinity League games.

12. Capistrano Valley Christian 6-1
13. Pacifica Christian 3-5
14. Foothill 12-2
15. Canyon 7-4
16. Villa Park 9-2
