I'm moving to the Irvine area next month and I'm looking for suggestions for a serious gym to train at. As a female in a strength sport, I have a lot of problems with guys bothering me at the big chain gyms... so I'm looking for a place with a friendly, supportive vibe where I can use chalk and record and not be told I'm going to break my back benching with an arch by a quarter squatter.
Kratos Gym in Foothill Ranch popped up but it looks like they've changed name/ownership three or so times in the past year? Also all the reviews only go up to early 2016. Wondering if anyone has experience going there?
I'm also training for my first meet right now and looking for some lifting buddies for when I move to the area! So if you're down, let me know! :)
